About Our SMS Program

AKK Platinum Installations ("AKK," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS messaging program to provide customers with transactional and service-related text messages. These messages support your order fulfillment, installation scheduling, and customer service experience.

Our SMS program is registered under the 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) carrier requirements and complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and all applicable federal and state regulations.

How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages from AKK when you provide your mobile phone number during the checkout process on our website (urakk.com) and check the consent box acknowledging these SMS Terms.

By opting in, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from AKK Platinum Installations at the mobile number you provided. Your consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Types of Messages You May Receive

Once opted in, you may receive the following types of text messages:

• Order confirmations — confirmation that your order was received and is being processed
• Shipping updates — tracking number, estimated delivery date, and delivery confirmation
• Delivery reminders — reminder 24 hours before your scheduled delivery window, including crew name and time window
• Installation reminders — day-of confirmation with crew name and estimated arrival time
• Service updates — any changes to your scheduled delivery or installation appointment
• Review requests — a single post-completion message inviting you to share your experience
• Customer support responses — replies to questions or requests you initiate via text

We do not send unsolicited promotional or marketing text messages. Any promotional SMS would require a separate opt-in.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your order and service type. A typical order generates 2–5 messages across the order lifecycle (confirmation, shipping, delivery reminder, completion, review request). Installation projects may generate additional messages for scheduling coordination.

Rates & Charges

Message and data rates may apply. AKK does not charge for SMS messages. Standard carrier messaging and data rates imposed by your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details on your plan's messaging rates.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of AKK SMS messages at any time. Your opt-out will be honored within 30 seconds of receipt.

You may also opt out by contacting us directly at info.support@urakk.com or by calling 719-454-2543 and requesting removal from our SMS list.

Please note: opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to purchase products or services from AKK. Order and service communications may continue via email.

How to Get Help

Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. AKK is not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in the delivery of messages caused by your mobile carrier, network availability, or device settings.

Your Privacy

Your mobile phone number and message history are governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your number may be shared with service providers (such as our SMS platform) solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

Changes to These Terms

AKK may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the SMS program following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
